Comfort Fedoke returns to SYTYCD – replaces Jessica King
This is not a joke… I repeat, this is not a joke. On tonight’s episode of So You Think You Can Dance, do not be surprised if you see hip-hop dancer Comfort Fedoke, who was voted out last week.
This is from ABC NEWS:
Jessica King is out and Comfort Fedoke is getting another shot on “So You Think You can Dance,” Fox TV said Monday. An undisclosed injury forced King to leave early in the competition.
“Her full recovery is paramount and will only come with rest,” series executive producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe said, adding that King had given her blessing to semifinalist Fedoke’s return.
Lythgoe, who fielded questions from reporters at a Television Critics Association meeting, said Fedoke faces the possibility of being eliminated again but was game to compete.
“She sat with Jessica and the lovely story is she (Fedoke) said, `I am so unhappy that you are indisposed, but I thank God for the opportunity of coming back,” Lythgoe recounted, adding, “And that just shows the determination of the young lady.”
They will be paired with new dance partners on Wednesday’s two-hour performance show (8 p.m. EDT). The results of viewer voting will be announced on Thursday’s hour long show (9 p.m. EDT) with two of the dancers facing elimination this week.
